Пытаюсь найти первоисточник (по ТХ-истории) появления слова "апостол".

Греческие и прочие объяснения дают основание сделать предположительный вывод об искуственном создании слова ТХ-историками на основе индоевропейских корней с последующим "обратным" переводом на "греческий".

A Greek-English Lexicon is the standard lexicographical work of the Ancient Greek language for English speakers, begun in the nineteenth century and now in its ninth (revised) edition.

The first editor of the LSJ, Henry George Liddell, was Dean of Christ Church, Oxford, and the father of Alice Liddell, the eponymous Alice of the writings of Lewis Carroll. The eighth edition (1897) is the last edition published during Liddell's lifetime.

The Bauer-Danker Lexicon is among the most highly respected dictionaries of Biblical Greek. The author of the German original is the late Walter Bauer. The English translation is A Greek-English Lexicon of the New Testament and Other Early Christian Literature.
The origin may be traced to Preuschen's Vollstadiges griechisch-deutsches Handwoterbuch zu den Schriften des Neuen Testament und der ubringen Urchristlichen Literatur (1910).

Апо́столы (апостол, греч. απόστολος — «посол, посланник») — ученики и последователи Иисуса Христа. В узком смысле термин апостол употребляется для обозначения двенадцати непосредственных учеников Христа; в более широком — 70 ближайших сподвижников Его Церкви, так наз. апостолы от седмидесяти.
«Апо́стол» — также название книги, использующейся при христианском богослужении, содержащей послания и деяния апостолов.
Согласно христианскому учению, во время своей жизни Иисус Христос cобрал себе 12 ближайших учеников. Эти ученики называются апостолами от двенадцати. Жизнь апостолов изложена в книге Деяния святых апостолов (Деяния), которая входит в Новозаветный канон.
Апостолы от семидесяти суть ученики Христа или ученики его учеников:
“избрал... и других семьдесят <учеников> и послал их по два пред лицем Своим во всякий город и место, куда сам хотел идти” (Луки 10. 1).
Имена семидесяти апостолов в Новом Завете не названы. Список семидесяти апостолов, приводимый в православном месяцеслове, был составлен в V - VI и малодостоверен. К семидесяти апостолам предание относит евангелистов Марка и Луку, а также к лику "семидесяти апостолов" были причислены многие, обращенные позже (в основном, ученики ап. Павла) за их великие миссионерские труды.
