It may be of interest to note significant events transpiring elsewhere in the world during the post-exilic era. It was during this period that Gautama Siddharta (Buddha) lived and taught in India (ca. 563-483 B.C.) and K'ung Fu-tzu (Confucius) lived and taught in China (ca. 551-479 B.C.).
Is there perhaps a connection between Gautama Siddharta (Buddha) in India in 563-483 BC and the Persian imposter Gaumata Smerdis (Bardiya) in Persia in 522 BC, defeated by Darius I? Both are known under three names and all three names are cognate.

Но здесь можно вспомнить известную пьесу Кальдерона "Жизнь есть сон", источники которой- события времен Смуты на Руси и Дмитрия Самозванца, соединенные с историей Варлаама и Иоасафа, христианской адаптации жития Будды. Когда же жил этот Будда и кто он был?
