Ahmad Ardarumi (Ahmad of Erzurum), Mustafa al-Ardarumi (Erzerumi).

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Erzerum
The name "Erzurum" derives from "Arz-e Rûm" (literally The Land of the Romans in Arabic).
The city uses the double-headed Anatolian Seljuk Eagle as its coat-of-arms, a motif based on the double-headed Byzantine Eagle that was a common symbol throughout Anatolia and the Balkans in the medieval period.
Erzurum, from the Turkish pronunciation of Arabic أرض روم arḍ Rūm, 'Land of the Romans'. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/R%C3%BBm

http://www.orthgymn.ru/publish/likhachev/khrestomatia/letters/38.php Д.С.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Moscopole (Albanian: Voskopojë, Aromanian: Moscopole, Moscopolea, Greek: Μοσχόπολις Moschopolis, Italian: Moscopoli) was a cultural and commercial center of the Aromanians,<2> and now a small municipality in Korçë District, modern southeastern Albania.<3>
Today Moscopole, known as Voskopojë, is a small mountain village, and along with a few other local settlements is considered a sort of Holy-land to local Orthodox Christians and was one of the original homelands of the Aromanian diaspora.<9>
History
Although located in a rather isolated place in the mountains of southern Albania, the city rose to become the most important center of the Aromanians. Moscopole was a small settlement until the end of the 17th century, but afterwards showed a remarkable financial and cultural development.<6> Some writers have claimed that Moschopolis in its glory days (1730–1760) had as many as 70,000 inhabitants; other estimates placed its population closer to 35,000;

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aromanians
Byzantine period
Benjamin of Tudela, a Spanish Jew who visited Thessaly in 1173, describes the Vlachs as living in the mountains and coming down from them to attack the Greeks. In relation with the Byzantine Empire, he adds: "no Emperor can conquer them".<34> It is interesting to note that Benjamin of Tudela did not describe them as a separate ethnic group, but as a group of rebels, who may have had Jewish origins because some of them had Jewish names.
Ottoman period
During the Ottoman period, Aromanian culture and economic power became more evident, as Vlachs concentrated in major urban centers. For example the city of Moscopole at that time was one of the largest cities of the Balkans, having a population of 60,000 (for comparison, at that time Athens was a village inhabited by 8,000 people). Moscopole had its own printing houses and academies, flowing water and sewerage network.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Samarina (Greek: Σαμαρίνα, Aromanian: San Marina, Samarina, Xamarina) is a village and a former municipality in Grevena peripheral unit, West Macedonia, Greece.
Every summer on August 15, on the feast of the Dormition of the Virgin, Samarinans from all over the world assemble on their ancestral village to celebrate. There, on the main square outside the Great Church, they perform the "Great Dance" (Greek: Tranós Chorós, Aromanian: Corlu Mari): thousands of people hold hands and form concentric circles, and they walk slowly and ceremonially counterclockwise, while singing their traditional songs in a rousing unison chorus.
