Нить от «натяну». Сюда же «knot» - узел, бант, связь, клубок.
Т.е. «connect» - это русское слово «стяну». Латинское «nectere» - нитка, замена «к» - «с» и перестановка. НТК – NTC (R) – NCT (R). Или «стяну» в обратном прочтении
