Понятно, что в основе русское «дал, дар, дать, дань» и пр. Вероятно, так же: «дети», «рад», «радость», «род», «орда», «юрт» и. т. п. Корни «рд», «др», «рт», «тр» и их производные.

Наше слово «из» + «дар» (дал, дать) – exdere - edito. А слово то, даже по ТИ совсем недавнее.

А вот словарь 1828 считает, что из «иду»
EDO – я выдаю, несу вперед, произвожу, набираю силу, показываю. Т.е. опять все сводиться к корню «д», который, по видимому, отпочковался от корней, указанных выше. Например, дерево, трава – дар – еда, ясти, яд.
