The Column of Trajan in Rome

See our book «Christ was born in the Crimea. There the Blessed Virgin died", chapter 8, paragraph 3: "ODDITIES OF THE COLUMN OF TRAJAN".

"Ancient" Rome imperator Trajan ruled, as supposed, in 98-117 years A.D., pic.1.21. On pic.8.13 there is his ancient bust. As we will show in the next publications, actually the epoch of imperator Trajan – this is the Trojan war of the XIII century that is the Crusades of Russia-Horde, which took revenge on for the punishment of Christ in Tsargrad. As it is seen on pic.1.21 and pic.1.22, the Scaligerian historians by mistake put Trajan before Adrian, "two" Aelius Verus and Commodus, who are the reflections of Andronicus-Christ.

But now we are interested in a different thing. Let's address to famous monument in honor of Trajan, which stands in Italian Rome now. This is the column of Trajan, pic.8.14. It is considered, that it was built in the II century and describes the events of two wars of Trajan with Daci. As we now understand, such dating is wrong. As, according to our reconstruction, here the episodes of famous Trojan war of the XIII century are shown, that is the Crusades (two of Crusades), therefore the column was constructed not earlier than in the middle of the XIII century, and more likely much later. We will provide corresponding arguments below.

The Column is from the top to the bottom covered with relief pictures. It is not convenient to watch and take photos of them from below, that's why we used detailed photos, which were published in a fundamental German work of the XIX century [1069:1] named "The Column of Trajan". Moreover, we used full drawings and photos of a part of pictures, which appeared not long ago in Internet [1463:-1].

So we studied several hundreds of professional photos of pictures on the Column of Trajan, made in the XIX and XX centuries. We discovered interesting facts. Here are some of them.

1) It is strange, that on the column itself THERE ARE NO ANY INSCRIPTIONS, no any persons or names are mentioned. The only inscription is on the base, pic.8.15, pic 8.16. Also it is interesting to compare the state of the base in the XIX century and in the XX century, pic.8.17. It is clear, that in the XX century the base was notably restored. The fact, that there are no inscriptions on the column itself turns a tape of events, by spiral covering the column from the top to the bottom, pic.8.18, into a long raw of "military pictures". Battles, piece, religious observances, fire, capture of cities, chains of captives etc. In particular, announcement of historians, that some figures show imperator Trajan himself are just a supposition, not confirmed by any clear arguments. We repeat that there are no inscriptions.

2) Most likely the column and some bas-reliefs on it are made of "marbled" concrete, pic 8.19. Parts, where "the skin comes out" are seen, the upper thin layer of more expensive concrete cover, which is put on a rough concrete base, falls of, pic.8.20, pic.8.21. It is possible, that some pictures were made on a not well freezed surface of the column (or panels). Probably the technique was mixed: poured of concrete parts interweaved with fragments of natural marble with carving. The Column of Trajan could be made at the epoch of Reformation, but probably based on some old pictures.

3) Looks like bas-reliefs of the column of Trajan really followed some old tradition. The following bright fact shows this: on many shields of "ancient" Rome soldiers Osman-Ataman half-moons are seen, stars and Christian crosses. In the Scaligerian version the appearance of such symbolism on "ancient, heathen" soldiers' arms is absolutely impossible. But in our reconstruction it should be like this. Let's provide several from the many examples: on pic.8.22 half-moon is seen on the top of the shield. On pic.8.23 two half-moons are placed on the shield in the center and on the shield on the right. Moreover, on one more right shield there are stars. In the center of pic.8.24 we see four shields with half-moons and stars. On the shield on the right there are Christian crosses. On pic.8.25 half-moon is seen on the shield in the center and on the shield down on the right. See also pic.8.26, pic.8.27, pic.8.28, pic.8.29, pic.8.30, pic.8.31, pic.8.32.

Seems that half-moons with stars and Christian crosses on the Column of Trajan were noticed by modern historians. And considerably "stringed them", as they showed on contradictions within the Scaligerian version. The solution was to keep silence very fiercely about this fact. In any case in accessible for us literature about the Column of Trajan there is silence regarding this issue.

4) It is also interesting, that during the last hundred years the column of Trajan was seriously hurt. Comparison of photos of the XIX century and the XX century clearly shows that pictures were considerably destroyed. Many voids appeared pic.8.33, pic.8.34, and also splits, which are missing on the old photos, presented in [1069:1]. This note agrees with our statement, that the Column of Trajan is not so ancient, as they try to convince us today. It is probably not around 1800 years, but not more than five hundred. The speed of destructions seems to be more or less constant. During the last hundred years the reliefs considerably decayed.

CONCLUSION. A famous Column of Trajan is made in the period of XVI-XVII centuries following some old pictures, which didn't reach us. It seems to be devoted to famous Trajan war of the XIII century that is the Crusades on Tsargrad and victory of Russia-Horde with allies.
