Urbium Tabulae <1657>. After his death in 1664, the plates passed to his heir, Jansson van Waesberge, who reissued them in a new two-volume edition of town plans in 1682. On Van Waesberge’s death in 1694 the copperplates were sold at auction, coming into the hands of Frederick de Wit who again reissued them, with re-workings, in his own town books. Some of the plates then appear to have come into the ownership of the Leiden publisher, Pieter van der Aa, who used them in his Galerie Agréable du Monde <1729>. Others, from de Wit, appear to have passed into the hands of Pierre Mortier and thence into the stock of J Covens and C Mortier, who were still issuing rather faded impressions from these plates in the mid-18th Century."

Всередине один шрифт сменяет другой, а вначале все так хорошо шло на немецком...

Одни названия городов проставлены на немецком, а другие, другим шрифтом - на латыни. Даты - на латыни. Имена всяких важных особ - на латыни и рядом тут же на немецком:

В новом издании то же самое, только вставок побольше и гравюры очень уж выделяются своей белизной на фоне пожелтевших страниц.
