CELESTIAL CALENDAR OF THE ANCIENTS

ABSTRACT

The present book is issued in a new edition, made by A.T.FOMENKO. It considerably differs from the previous ones.

For the first time a full decoding of the famous Egyptian zodiacs is received, on which the dates of the ancient history of Egypt are written. Many researchers of the XIX-XX centuries tried to decode and date the zodiacs. But the proposed by them decodings were fractional and didn't let to restore uniquely the dates of the zodiacs. Now, with a creation of the new method and by means of computer analysis for the first time we managed to establish finally the raw of precise astronomical landmarks of the Egyptian history. It appeared that the Egyptian zodiacs were created not earlier than the epoch of the XI century.

The most of the book will not require from the reader any special knowledge in mathematics, going out of the frames of the first two courses of technical higher educational institution. It is interesting for mathematicians, physicians, mechanics, astronomers and statists. The book definitely will be interesting for everyone, interested in the history of the Ancient world, Middle ages and the history of science.
